'' As owners we debated back and forth as to the effectiveness of installing the draft metering system...wish we didn't drag our feet as long as we did. In August we were pouring 98-102 pints per keg, we are now pouring 134-140 pints per keg. Our Draft beer cost was between 24-26 percent, it is now down to 16-18 percent. We have increased our draft revenue $1000 per week and use less product. We give each bartender a rating, so we know who is not pouring correctly. This QB rating tracks sloppy and neglect bartenders. The other bartenders are then able to try and retrain that person.
The Daily Report is simple and fool proof, there are no issues, or breakdowns, the system runs very very smooth. The system tied up the one loose end of our business, we just weren't able to correctly track draft beer, and now we are finally making money.''
Owner of the Village Tavern
The ICS team installed the hardware and software in under six hours and it immediately told us that we were losing an average of 50 litres of beer each week.
The live reporting software enables our managers to monitor performance live from our on-site office and the per shift summary reports that are emailed to me automatically provide an easy to read snapshot of what the performance was for that shift. It has enabled us to react immediately to over pouring issues, unregistered sales or beer system issues and our managers have embraced the system and adjusted the way they manage the bar and their staff as a result.
Our average weekly beer wastage is now around 10 litres per week. When you multiply that saving over a year it is one of the smartest investments we have made with 40L per week now charged out rather than lost. Being a German Beer Hall we sell 1L Steins so over a year that equates to $52,000 through our till rather than down the drain!
I took a bit of convincing to spend the dollars on the system but for us the payback has been immediate. If you think you have a wastage problem, it is probably twice what you think, and this system is the only system I have seen that will tell you how to fix it!

Our draft beer management system will make a considerable difference
on your bottom line!
How it works:
The Auper draft beer flow meter is mounted in the beer tube going to the tap from the keg. As soon as the beer flows, the flowmeter generates a train of pulses proportional in frequency to the speed of the liquid passing through it.
This is the device to which the flow meters will be connected. It converts the pulses sent by the flowmeters and counts the quantity served in ounces or in liters (or other). The metering system you need is selected based on the number of flow meters you will connect to it. The system is calibrated with the flow meter and the beer it measures to provide the most accurate measurements possible.
You can read the quantity served on the screen and reset the counters when you are finished to start a new period. If you want a hard copy of the meters, you can print a report on a serial printer. The comparison with your sales report is done manually.
The Draft Manager Live software will automatically record the glasses of beer served and the glasses ordered in the POS system in real time. The glasses served and ordered at the POS are time stamped and the amounts are reconciled before your eyes. Reports are printed and automatically emailed to you at the end of each shift. This system will help you to differentiate waste and overfilling from glasses served not ordered.
